The NFL's Top 100 Players list has become an annual offseason tradition.
Kicking off 2025's at No. 100 is Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey.

McConkey makes the list as a rookie after being selected by the Chargers in the second round (34th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft. He had a historic debut NFL season, recording 82 catches for 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns.
His reception and yardage totals broke the rookie record of legendary Chargers WR Keenan Allen. McConkey was a bright spot in Los Angeles' postseason loss to the Houston Texans, setting an NFL rookie record with 197 receiving yards during the game.
From NFL.com: "One year in the league, one appearance on the Top 100 list. McConkey was everything the Chargers could hope for and more as a rookie. He led the team in targets, receptions and yards, only getting stronger as the season progressed. The shoes left by the departed Keenan Allen as an always-open chain-mover fit remarkably well. Now, McConkey enters Year 2 as L.A.'s unquestioned WR1."
McConkey should be a mainstay on the list as his career unfolds, and could shoot up the rankings significantly. The new running back duo of Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton should open up the passing game, as should the additions of WRs Tre Harris and Mike Williams. With so many different threats for defenses to contain, McConkey could be even more lethal finding soft spots against zone coverage and seeing less double-teams.
2025's Top 100 Players list is being released a little bit differently this year. Only two players will be revealed on each weekday, a total of 10 per week. The announcements are coming via X and NFL+, running from June 30 through August 29. The top 10 will be aired on NFL Network on September 1.
