Fox Sports reporter Charissa Thompson recently took to social media to share a message for Jimmy Johnson following his recent announcement.
On Monday, Johnson announced his retirement from Fox Sports after serving as a network analyst for 25 years.
Fox Sports' official social media account posted the news with the message, "Thank you, Coach."
Thompson then reposted the announcement, sending Johnson a heartfelt note.
"Gonna miss you, Coach," Thompson said.
Thompson later posted a few memories of Johnson and herself in the Fox Sports studios with the caption, "Sundays won't be the same without you! We love you so much. You're a vibe, Coach."
Johnson has worked alongside Thompson in the Fox Sports studio, as well as sharing the panel with Michael Strahan, Rob Gronkowski, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long and Curt Menefee.
Aside from his career as an NFL analyst, Johnson is widely regarded as one of the most well-known head coaches and general managers in league history, most notably stepping into both roles for the Miami Dolphins from 1996 to 1999.
He also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, serving as the head coach and general manager from 1989 to 1993 and helping the franchise win Super Bowl XXVII and Super Bowl XXVIII.
