Jerry Jones is unlikely to let go of the title of "America's Team" anytime soon. After all, the Dallas Cowboys owner trademarked the phrase several years ago. That said, if you ask Chase Daniel, the phrase really doesn't describe the Cowboys anymore.
It's the Kansas City Chiefs who deserve the description of America's Team, says Daniel, who recently went on the show The Facility on FS1 to back up his pro-Chiefs stance.
Alongside Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy, and James Jones, Daniel went to work defending the Chiefs' sustained run of success by reaching five of the last six Super Bowls compared to the Cowboys, who haven't even been in an conference championship game since 1995.

Others around the roundtable on The Facility defended the Cowboys in terms of historical greatness and ongoing popularity despite the generally middling results. However, Daniel had a last word and stated that the Chiefs still deserve the edge.

The league's new schedule dropped this week, and the Chiefs' visit to Dallas is expected to bring stellar ratings.
The topic of being America's Team will undoubtedly be debated in the weeks and months to come with the zenith of discussion coming as the Thanksgiving matchup looms closer in Week
