Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson is hard at work constructing his first coaching staff for his inaugural season as an NFL head coach in 2025.
While reports and rumors have connected Johnson to numerous candidates for jobs on his staff, he has already eliminated a few from consideration, including New Orleans Saints interim head coach/special teams guru Darren Rizzi.
Several assistant coaches from Matt Eberflus' 2024 staff have also found employment elsewhere. According to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, former Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown accepted a job as the New England Patriots' tight ends coach and pass game coordinator for Mike Vrabel on Monday.
