This month, the Chicago Bears turn their attention to the remarkable women making an impact on and off the field.
Every March, the nation celebrates Women’s History Month to honor the vital contributions women have made to society. This annual observance recognizes the trailblazing women who have fought for equality and those who continue to lead change today.
The Chicago Bears are joining this celebration by spotlighting the incredible women within their own football family.
On Instagram, the team officially kicked off the month by making an announcement for Women’s History Month. The post featured a caption saying, “We’re giving flowers all month long to women who are changing the game
.”
Among those spotlighted by the Bears’ campaign are the incredible women who continue to support their players. These wives and partners offer unwavering support not only on the field but also outside of it. They admirably balance their own professional lives while standing by their husbands throughout the demands of the NFL season.
Leading this group is legendary gymnast Simone Biles, who consistently supports her husband, safety Jonathan Owens. Throughout the veteran safety’s time with the Bears, the seven-time gold medalist frequently makes time to attend games. She sometimes wears custom outfits featuring his husband’s name and number.
During one game, Biles even took on the role of sideline photographer, capturing some of her husband’s on-field plays. This showed that her support goes far beyond just cheering from the bleachers.

Raven Moore, the wife of wide receiver DJ Moore, has consistently shown her support for her husband’s career and their family. In addition to her steady presence at the stadium, she also supports the wide receiver through their Moore2Life Foundation. While DJ focuses on making plays on the field, Raven leads their community efforts to promote education and wellness in Chicago.
Emily Kmet, the wife of tight end Cole Kmet, has been with the standout tight end long before his NFL career. She has been a constant source of encouragement for him on and off the field. Emily is often seen supporting Cole from the stands or suites during games. She also occasionally appears alongside him at fundraising events and galas.
Janessa McFadden, the partner of cornerback Jaylon Johnson, brings a unique perspective as a dedicated registered nurse. Janessa’s ability to balance her medical career with her role as a supportive partner to the star cornerback makes her a game-changer. When she’s not saving lives, she’s surely cheering Jaylon from the front row.
While often referred to as the WAGs (wives and girlfriends) of the NFL, these women are proving they are far more than a title. Many flourish in their own careers, showing that their roles extend beyond cheering from the sidelines.
During this Women’s History Month, the Bears are not just giving them flowers. They are honoring the undeniable impact these women — and many others — have on the team.
