Chicago Bears: PFF identifies 1 player who will be an All-Pro for the first time in 2026

The Chicago Bears are hoping that the 2026 NFL season will be another step forward. Last year, the first under head coach Ben Johnson, Chicago went 11-6, won the NFC North, and advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs.

With one year in Johnson’s system under their belt, Bears players should take even larger steps forward this season. Already, they have what can only be considered as one of the best young cores in the NFL.

And one of those pieces could earn some serious post-season recognition.

Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland predicted to be an All-Pro in 2026

Last season, tight end Colston Loveland emerged as one of the best players at his position, despite being a rookie. In his first season with the Bears, Loveland had 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns.

PFF believes that, if he is able to build off his success as a rookie, he could be named an All-Pro in 2026:

“The Bears’ offense exploded last season, placing ninth in success rate during Ben Johnson’s first year. A significant part of that improved efficiency was Loveland, who looked unstoppable late in the season. Indeed, Loveland’s 86.9 PFF receiving grade was the second-best among qualified tight ends from Week 9 onward, as were his 34 first downs gained.

“On an offense full of young — and somewhat unproven — playmakers, Chicago will assuredly continue to funnel the ball through the game-changing Loveland this season. With Travis Kelce declining of late and George Kittle’s status uncertain after suffering a torn Achilles in the playoffs, Loveland should be firmly in the All-Pro mix alongside Trey McBride and Brock Bowers.”

With DJ Moore gone, the Bears are leaning into relying on their young pass catchers to be the primary offensive play-makers. Loveland is arguably the best of them, and it would not be surprising to see him lead Chicago in every receiving category in 2026.

If he does this, and if the Bears repeat as division champions, he almost assuredly will be an All-Pro.
