Chicago Bears QB Caleb William’s offseason update catches attention

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams earned every bit of his offseason.

The 24-year-old threw for a Bears single-season record 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions in 2025. Williams held the keys to an offense that powered Chicago to an 11-6 record. The squad also clinched its first NFC North title since 2018.

The Bears went from 5-12 the year prior to legitimate title contenders in one season. Williams is not resting on his laurels, though.

The signal-caller continues to put in work behind the scenes heading into his third year. Before that campaign begins, Williams gave fans a glimpse of his time away from the gridiron.

The break comes at the right time. Heading into a pivotal third year , staying rejuvenated and healthy is just as important as any film session or workout. Williams and head coach Ben Johnson caught many teams off guard in 2025. That element of surprise is gone.

The margin for error shrinks in Year 3. Williams’ continued growth will determine how far Chicago can go. The promised land is within reach, but getting there requires Williams to take the next step.
