Chris Jones and the Kansas City Chiefs, after dropping the first two games of the 2025 NFL season, secured their first win in Week 3 over the New York Giants. Now, the Chiefs prepare for a heavyweight showdown in Week 4, hosting Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
Now in his 10th NFL season, Jones remains the anchor of the Chiefs’ defensive line. The six-time All-Pro has five tackles, one sack and three tackles for loss through three games. Though Jones' stat sheet may be underwhelming, he has been able to stay off the injury report for the first three weeks, logging 163 snaps, more than 80% of Kansas City’s defensive plays.
Jones had also been left off the injury report building up to the Week 4 matchup against the Ravens. Until Saturday, when the Chiefs announced that his status is now up in the air due to personal reasons.
"We are adding DT Chris Jones to the injury report (non-injury related - personal). He has no game status designation," the Chiefs wrote on X.

Along with Jones, defensive end Mike Danna is listed as doubtful for Week 4 with a quad injury. Cornerback Kristian Fulton (ankle) and defensive lineman Ashton Gillotte (elbow) are questionable. Patrick Mahomes, however, did get some good news as rookie wideout Xavier Worthy will be available for the first time since his Week 1 collision with Travis Kelce.
The Ravens, meanwhile, will be without defensive tackleNnamdi Madubuike (neck), fullback Patrick Ricard (calf) and defensive tackle Broderick Washington (ankle). Other stars such as Isaiah Likely, Ronnie Stanley and Kyle Van Noy are questionable.
The Chiefs will take on the Ravens on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
