
Mansoor Delane is a freshly minted member of the Kansas City Chiefs. After trading their No. 8 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft to the Cleveland Browns for the No. 6 pick, head coach Andy Reid and the Chiefs selected the LSU Tigers cornerback. The 6-foot cornerback had a sensational senior 2025 college football season, finishing with 45 tackles, two interceptions, 13 passes defended and 11 pass breakups.
Delane was rewarded for his strong play by being named a first-team All-SEC member. The Archbishop Spalding High School graduate also became the 14th football player in LSU program history to be named a unanimous All-American.
On Thursday, the Chiefs went to social media to make an announcement about Delane and the rest of the rookie class. On X, Kansas City disclosed the official numbers for the 2026 NFL Draft rookies. Delane will wear No. 5. Listed below are the rest of the jersey numbers assigned to the new rookie additions.
