Chiefs Could Continue Haunting Bills With Receiver Signing

The Kansas City Chiefs have eliminated the Buffalo Bills from the playoffs in four of the last five seasons. Needless to say, Josh Allen and the rest of Buffalo are sick and tired of the reigning AFC champions.

But the Chiefs have the opportunity to continue to pester the Bills in free agency.

One of the biggest names that has not yet been signed to a team is star wide receiver Amari Cooper, who was traded by the Cleveland Browns to the Bills halfway through the 2024 season.

But with some of the moves that the AFC East champions have made, including signing receiver Joshua Palmer in free agency, it does not appear that they are planning on bringing back Cooper. If they were going to, there is a good chance that they would have already done it.

As a result, a team like the Chiefs could make a move on the five time Pro Bowler. While Rashee Rice will be healthy to start the 2025 season, there is still an ongoing case involving him, which could lead to a suspension in the future.

The team has other guys like Hollywood Brown and Xavier Worthy on the outside, having someone like Cooper could be an interesting concept for the team to investigate.

While he had just 547 yards in 2024, he is just one year removed from over 1,200 yards in 2023. At the point in his career, Cooper could be a big part of a team that is looking to make a run in the playoffs like the Chiefs.
