Observations:

  • The Giants will be down two linebackers, including their starter Muasau. They could also be down a third LB in Golston, who although is listed as questionable, did not practice once this week.
  • The chances of former Chief Rakeem Nuñez-Roches suiting up and playing against his former team are slim after he took a step back on Friday and was held out of practice.
  • Olszewski, who is a backup WR and New York's top return man, also regressed on Friday and did not practice.
  • According to ESPN's Jordan Raanan, Thomas is a true gametime decision after being limited in practice all week. It would be a major blow to the Giants' offense if he can't play.

Observations:

  • Coach Andy Reid told the media on Friday that he will get with the medical staff before deciding if Worthy will take the field on Sunday. The decision could take up until close to game time, but Reid did say that Worthy was moving around fast during practice.
  • Royals is also questionable, but logging back-to-back full practices is a good indicator that he will play. If he does, it will be the rookie WR's regular season debut.
  • It's no surprise that the Chiefs will be without Danna and Fulton since neither practiced at all this week. Fulton's time in K.C. so far has been injury-riddled, and being down a defensive lineman is unfortunate for a defense that is lacking quality at the position. Fortunately, rookie DL Omarr Norman-Lott played well last week, as did rookie cornerback Nohl Williams.
