Chiefs' Ideal Schedule Wish A Christmas Rivalry Theme?

The NFL is set to release the 2025 schedule this week with fans looking to see when and where their teams play, and for the Kansas City Chiefs, where they begin their revenge tour after the Super Bowl loss is intriguing.

With Patrick Mahomes and Co. looking to stay at the top of the AFC summit, a place they've occupied for the past couple of seasons, having the 11th-hardest schedule (based on the combined 2024 record of teams they play in 2025), the Chiefs have a somewhat tricky year ahead.

But given the Chiefs will be seeing plenty of tough teams this upcoming season, with most seeing Kansas City as their Super Bowl, if the franchise got one schedule wish, what would it be?

For CBS Sports, it is a Christmas Day showdown with the Buffalo Bills.

"A Christmas clash with the Bills, mixing holiday buzz with maybe the most anticipated annual battle," CBS Sports writes.

The Chiefs have made it known that they want to be a constant fixture on Christmas Day, and with the Bills looking in perhaps the best shape under Allen to reach and win a Super Bowl, having these two titans clash on Christmas Day would be something special.

The Bills have beaten the Chiefs the last four times in the regular season, but Kansas City has beaten Buffalo the last four times in the playoffs. Weird, huh.

Given the Chiefs have the Bills on the road, it will be a tough outing at Highmark Stadium for the AFC champs, but it could be a pivotal clash with playoff seeding likely needing to be determined.

Maybe the Chiefs will get their Christmas wish, and maybe it will be another installment of what is becoming quite the rivalry, too.
