Chiefs Injury Report: Rookie defender misses final practice, one key starter expected to return vs. Ravens in Week 4
Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images

The Kansas City Chiefs are getting healthier as they look to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. The Baltimore Ravens, on the other hand, are already confirmed to be down multiple key starters this week, and could be without even more than we know already. Let's examine each team's final injury reports.

KEY: DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related

Observations:

  • The Ravens will be down both of their starting defensive tackles in Washington and Madubuike against the Chiefs. That is a huge blow for a defense that is already struggling to the start the season.
  • Ricard, who is one of the best fullbacks in the NFL, will also miss Week 4 against Kansas City.
  • Stanley appears to be headed toward being a game-time decision. Being without him would be a significant setback for Baltimore's offense. If Stanley can't play, veteran Joe Noteboom will likely start in his place.
  • Van Noy will also be a game-time decision. He is one of the most complete middle linebackers in the league.
  • Likely logged his first full practice on Friday after being limited earlier in the week. It will be his regular season debut if he does play, so he could be on a pitch count.

KEY: DNP = Did not participate | LP = Limited participation | FP = Full participation | NIR = Not injury related

Observations:

  • Worthy has no game designation after fulling practicing throughout the week and is set to make his return from injury against the Ravens. He missed most of the first three games of the season with a separated shoulder.
  • Royals also has no injury designation and should be active for the second consecutive week. He did not play a snap last week against the New York Giants.
  • Danna had a setback after practicing in full on Thursday. He was limited on Friday, and likely won't play against Baltimore.
  • Gillotte missed Friday's practice with an illness. Coach Andy Reid told the media that he expects him to be good to go on Sunday.
  • Fulton was limited in each practice this week, and appears to be a game-time decision.
