The Kansas City Chiefs continue to fight for their fourth straight trip to the Super Bowl.

Kansas City is looking to get into the playoff picture after starting off the season on a rough note. Heading into Week 12, the Chiefs were riding a two-game losing streak.

In what many thought was a must-win game against the Indianapolis Colts, the Chiefs clawed their way to a 23-20 victory.

Patrick Mahomes led the way for Kansas City with the help of several talented players on the outside such as tight end Travis Kelce and wide receiver Rashee Rice.

During the matchup against the Colts, Kansas City showed off an interesting stat on Mahomes.

Mahomes had reached the 35,000 passing yards mark. The Chiefs announced that Mahomes reached the feat in the fewest games in NFL history.

"New record just dropped," posted the official social media account of the Kansas City Chiefs. "Congrats, QB1."

Patrick Mahomes secured the 35,000 passing yards mark in 123 games with the Kansas City Chiefs. The previous record holder was former Detroit Lions star and current Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Matthew Stafford, who achieved the feat in 126 games.

So far with the Chiefs, Mahomes has led Kansas City to three Super Bowl titles and five AFC titles, continuing to prove that he's one of the greatest quarterbacks the league has ever seen.
