Chiefs news: Skyy Moore lands on injured reserve before Week 8

Technically, the Kansas City Chiefs have endured yet another injury to their wide receiver corps with the news that Skyy Moore has been placed on injured reserve. For the first time, however, fans are unlikely to be phased at all given Moore's complete lack of impact in the team's offense. According to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, the Chiefs will be without Moore for at least the next four games of the season after placing him on IR. The reason for Moore's absence is to recover from a core muscle injury. The Chiefs are already dealing with a significant number of injuries at wideout so far this season, including their top three options with the loss of Hollywood Brown, Rashee Rice, and JuJu Smith-Schuster coming into Week 8. Brown was lost in the team's first preseason game for the rest of the season, while Rice went down with a severe injury in Week 4.
