Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Reacts to 'Quarterback' News

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is a three-time Super Bowl champion, and he’s still only 29 years old.

While this past NFL season didn’t end the way he would have liked with a missed three-peat, there’s always next season to climb back to the top of the NFL mountain.

On Monday, Netflix announced which NFL stars will be featured in Season 2 of "Quarterback," a series that gives fans exclusive behind-the-scenes access to players throughout the upcoming season.

The three players for this year are Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins, and Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff.

"JOE BURROW KIRK COUSINS JARED GOFF," Netflix wrote on social media. "Quarterback Season 2 premieres July 8."

Following the announcement, Mahomes took to social media to react with a simple repost on his story, tagging 2 PM Productions, the production company behind the series.

"@2pm," Mahomes wrote.

Mahomes appeared in the first season of "Quarterback" two seasons ago, alongside Cousins. They were joined by current Washington Commanders quarterback Marcus Mariota.

Netflix took a year off from covering quarterbacks in 2024-25 and instead released a series called "Receiver." The show followed Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, current Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams, current Commanders wide receiver Deebo Samuel, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson and San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle.

This isn’t the only sport Netflix has covered with a series like this. The streaming service has had great success with "Formula 1: Drive to Survive," "Full Swing" (which covers golf) and "Starting 5," which focused on the NBA.
