The Kansas City Chiefs are two days away from their biggest game of the season and found out Tuesday that they will likely be without star defensive lineman Chris Jones.

The Chiefs are scheduled to face the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 15 at 8:20 p.m. ET on "Thursday Night Football." Chargers rookie left tackle Rashawn Slater was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Monday.
Jones was selected 37th overall by Kansas City in the 2016 NFL Draft and has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the last two seasons. In 87 career games, Jones has recorded 192 tackles, 47.5 sacks, 29 passes defended and 10 forced fumbles.
He leads the team this season with 7.0 sacks and is second on the squad with 14 quarterback hits.
The Chargers are 8-5 and one game behind the 9-4 Chiefs.
