The Kansas City Chiefs continued training camp on Sunday as they look to avenge last season’s Super Bowl loss. They hit the practice field in pads for the first time, with four-time First-Team All-Pro Travis Kelce in attendance after a long offseason with his girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Kelce made numerous public appearances this offseason, including Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final in Florida with Swift, several dates with her, attending the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France with his brother, Jason Kelce and more.
Through it all, Kelce sported a long-haired look. He even showed up to the start of training camp with the flow last Tuesday.
However, on Sunday, he showed up to practice with the flow gone, and the Chiefs took note.
"Fresh cut Trav," the Chiefs pointed out with a post on social media.

The three-time Super Bowl champ is clearly enjoying himself with the buzz cut after almost not even playing this season. Kelce contemplated retirement at the end of last year but ultimately decided to return, and playing in 2026 isn’t totally out of the question.
“I got one year on this contract, I know that," Kelce said in June. "And we’ll try to figure out something for next year... The Chiefs organization knows how much I love them. I can’t see myself playing anywhere else. We’ll deal with 2026 down the road, when the time is right. But right now, I’m focused on winning a championship this year.”
The 35-year-old, entering his 13th season in the NFL, is undoubtedly one of the greatest tight ends of all time. In Kelce's career, he's recorded 1,004 receptions for 12,151 yards and 77 touchdowns.
