Chiefs' 'Pumped' Travis Kelce Announces Truth About NFL Future

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, for most, is entering his 13th and final NFL season.

Some thought that had the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last year, that No. 87 would ride off into the sunset with Taylor Swift, and that would be that. But the loss has stoked Kelce's fire, and he's back for 2025.

But is this really the future Hall of Famer's final year? Given how low his production last season was and factoring in his age, that seems logical.

However, when speaking on the Bussin' With the Boys Podcast, Kelce remained tight-lipped on his future.

"It is the last one on the contract," Kelce said. "I am focused on this one. I do not know what next year is going to feel like. I do not know what I am going to feel like in March and April of next year, when I make that decision, or I try to figure out what is next for me. But I know that I got one on the contract, and I got a team and got a lot of talent. I am pumped for it."

So, in other words, Travis is fully focused on being the best version of himself, and what will be next offseason will be.

There is a thought that if this is Travis' last season, letting fans know now might allow for a goodbye tour of sorts, and yes, that is good in theory, but if Kelce decides to return next season, then it would be a bit odd.

However, it is clear that Kelce is only concerned about 2025 and how his body will feel after his 13th NFL season, and he'll take the necessary time to decide what is next for him and his career.

Many think 2025 will be his final NFL season, but there is a little bit of hope that maybe it might not be.
