Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes' Mom Announces Exciting Giveaway
Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

In Week 16 against the Tennessee Titans, the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 26-9 loss. Patrick Mahomes was absent, and Chris Oladokun stepped in as the only healthy quarterback. The defeat added to a season already reeling from key injuries.

A week earlier, Mahomes sustained a season-ending knee injury during a loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. He underwent surgery performed by the Dallas Cowboys medical staff and was officially ruled out for the remainder of the season. His absence erased the Chiefs’ fading playoff hopes and forced the team to scramble for depth at quarterback.

Amid those hard times, Mahomes’ mother, Randi Mahomes, launched a holiday initiative to help sports families. Through The Sports Parent Academy, Randi Mahomes announced a giveaway of 200 full courses aimed at helping parents guide young athletes.

“It’s here!!! With everything happening in our world and in our family, one thing that never changes is wanting to pour into others and give back where we can,” she wrote. “That’s why this giveaway means so much to me.”

Her Instagram post included five slides that explained the program and its entry steps. Families must follow both The Sports Parent Academy and Randi Mahomes, tag three sports parents, fill out a form by Dec. 25, 2025, and share the post to their story for a bonus entry.

"I’m excited to be giving away Sports Parent Academy courses and hope they can be a blessing to your family!" Randi Mahomes wrote.

Winners will be announced on Dec. 26, 2025. The courses cover modules like mindset and recruiting, include monthly live Q&A sessions with industry experts, and grant access to a private parent community and updated tools.

The available information does not say Patrick is directly running the giveaway. The post presents the effort as Randi Mahomes's personal venture, born from raising Patrick from Little League to the NFL. While she referenced family challenges, she focused her message on support and hope for other sports families.
