It has been quite an eventful offseason for Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes as he continues to recover from a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee.

Mahomes suffered the injuries in the final minutes of a Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Dec. 14. The incident occured when his left knee buckled following a tackle with 1:53 left in regulation. Kansas City lost 16-13 that day and was eliminated from playoff contention for the first time since 2014.

Mahomes had surgery shortly afterward and has followed a steady rehab plan as he aims to return in time for the start of the 2026 NFL season. He even shared a video of himself already throwing at the Chiefs facility in March.

But injury recovery has not been the only thing keeping Mahomes busy this offseason. He is spending meaningful time with his family, and the break has given him a chance to rest and connect with loved ones away from football.

Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, along with their three children, recently visited a Texas farm. Brittany shared photos of the family outing on Instagram with the caption: “Go to a TX farm, invite all ya friends and fam the best weekend with our squad! ”

The two-time league MVP also shared the update on his Instagram, adding emoji reactions of his own.

Mahomes has been a family man throughout his career. He and Brittany have been together since high school. They got married in 2022 and have built a close home life even during busy NFL seasons.

The couple has three children: daughter Sterling Skye, who is five years old; son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, who is three; and daughter Golden Raye, who is 15 months old.

From the looks of it, Mahomes is staying positive and spending time with the people he loves as his recovery moves forward. As for Chiefs fans, they will continue to watch closely as Mahomes works toward a strong return in 2026.
