The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Las Vegas Raiders 31-0 on Sunday in a Week 7 showdown between AFC West rivals. It marked the season debut of third-year wide receiver Rashee Rice.
He wrapped up a six-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy after involvement in a high-speed chrash in March of 2024.
Rice immediately made a big impact, hauling in seven receptions (led the team), 42 yards and two touchdowns (led the team) on 10 targets.
His performance caught the attention of many, including Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who spent six years (2016 to 2021) with the Chiefs.
Hill suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 4 against the New York Jets. As he rehabs, the 31-year-old wide receiver has the opportunity to watch NFL games instead of playing in them.
Rice's performance drew a reaction from Hill, who sent the young wide receiver a message via an X post.
"Also Rashee Rice is so dangerous !! Chiefs back rolling love to see it," Hill said.

Hill may have played his last snap with Miami. "League sources expect the Dolphins to release Hill before the start of the next league year in March 2026," wrote CBS Sports reporter Jonathan Jones.
Before getting hurt, he was a serious trade candidate, with Kansas City a potential destination. "The Chiefs are the team most often connected with Hill," ESPN's Dan Graziano wrote on Sept. 19.
That means if the Dolphins were to release Hill, he could sign with his former team, and the Chiefs wouldn't have to trade any assets away to make a reunion possible.
Both Rice and fellow wide receiver Xavier Worthy are under contract in 2026. Potentially adding Hill to that group would give quarterback Patrick Mahomes a dangerous trio of wide receivers.
