The NFL schedule for the 2025-26 season has been slowly coming out this week and some exciting matchups are starting to come out.
From the season opener between the Dallas Cowboys and the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles to a Week 16 divisional matchup as the Green Bay Packers take on the Chicago Bears.
These moves have made NFL fans excited for the upcoming season and there was another anticipated clash between division rivals that will be played on Christmas day.
Patrick Mahomes, Chris Jones and the Kansas City Chiefs will host their division rivals as they take on Bo Nix, Pat Surtain II and the Denver Broncos in Week 17.
It will be an exciting, late-season game between the two teams as the Chiefs have a 3-2 record all-time on Christmas.
Their most recent win on December 25 came in 2024 as they beat the Pittsburgh Steelers with a final score of 29-10.
Kansas City's social media team posted to X following the Christmas Day announcement.

For the Denver Broncos, it will be starting quarterback Nix's fourth matchup with the Chiefs as they will face each other earlier in the season as well.
Nix was able to beat Kansas City in Week 18 of the 2024 season as the Chiefs were resting their starters for the NFL Playoffs.
The rest of the NFL schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 14.
