The Kansas City Chiefs were officially eliminated from the playoffs in Week 15 after a 16-13 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a torn ACL in that game and underwent surgery. The injuries continued as Gardner Minshew left the Week 16 game early against the Tennessee Titans with an injury.
While the Chiefs won't be in the postseason for the first time in a decade, questions remain about the team going forward.
One of those questions involves the status of future Hall of Fame tight end Travis Kelce, who has yet to decide whether or not he will retire after this season.
On Tuesday, Kelce received some good news as the results came in for the Pro Bowl Games.
Kelce was one of four Chiefs players to make the Pro Bowl this year.
The others were defensive tackle Chris Jones, center Creed Humphrey and guard Trey Smith.
The Chiefs then reacted to the news and shared the post on X.

This is Kelce's 11th Pro Bowl nod in his career, and his 11th straight trip to the Pro Bowl, with the first one coming in 2015.
Kelce also led all players in fan voting, which makes this the second year in a row he has had the most votes from the fans.
Kelce has 68 catches for 803 yards with five touchdowns, leading Kansas City in receptions and yards and tied with Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown in touchdown catches.
The Pro Bowl Games have now moved to the week of the Super Bowl and will take place in San Francisco.
The other AFC Pro Bowl tight end is Brock Bowers of the Las Vegas Raiders.
