Chiefs Star Seen Crying Uncontrollably During Super Bowl

Kansas City Chiefs players couldn't help but get emotional during Super Bowl LIX, especially as the Philadelphia Eagles dominated from start to finish.

In fact, Chiefs defensive end Charles Omenihu perfectly showed the heartbreak the team was feeling during the contest. As the Eagles built a comfortable lead by the fourth quarter, the Kansas City defensive star was spotted crying uncontrollably on the sidelines.

A teammate and a member of the Chiefs' coaching staff were also seen trying to comfort him, as Omenihu was unable to hide his pain from what happened. The Chiefs ended up losing to the Eagles, 40-22.

It was a forgettable performance for the Chiefs, and it's hard to blame Charles Omenihu for his reaction, considering that Kansas City was on the verge of NFL immortality with one more win.

The Chiefs had the chance to become the first team to win an unprecedented Super Bowl three-peat, but they didn't play like a motivated team from start to finish.

The Eagles built a 24-0 lead at halftime, and it was just too much to overcome for the Chiefs, even with their late rally in the fourth quarter.

For what it's worth, both Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce were also seen sharing an emotional moment following the loss, with a photo showing them embracing each other with somber expressions.

It was indeed a painful night for the Chiefs.
