Chiefs' Steve Spagnuolo in crosshairs of Bills, Ravens, and Eagles fans after Joe Burrow comment captured in 'Quarterback' goes viral

Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo gave Joe Burrow the ultimate compliment, providing his take on a very big debate across the NFL.

On Tuesday, Netflix released the new season of "Quarterback," which featured Burrow. And the microphones caught an exchange between the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback and Spagnuolo. 

"Other than our guy, you're the best in the business," Spagnuolo said to Burrow after the Chiefs defeated the Bengals 26-25 in Week 2 of the 2024 season. "I'm not saying that 'cuz you're standing here."

Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens, and Philadelphia Eagles fans will certainly have something to say about that considering Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Jalen Hurts have all been in that conversation for the "best in the business."

But, Spagnuolo is one of the most respected coaches in the NFL and for him to say this to Burrow speaks volumes. Plus, a matchup between the Bengals quarterback and Patrick Mahomes is always is fun to watch, with Burrow holding a 3-2 record over Kansas City. 

As of now, the Chiefs and the Benglals aren't set to meet in the regular season until 2027, but the playoffs could bring these two talented quarterbacks against one another again. 

We'll just have to wait and see.
