If he makes the Kansas City Chiefs roster, Sean Culkin will become the first NFL player to convert all of his salary to Bitcoin, according to ESPN's Adam Teicher.
Culkin would be paid his $920,000 salary by the Chiefs in U.S. dollars but will convert it to Bitcoin.
I fully believe Bitcoin is the future of finance and I wanted to prove that I have real skin in the game — not just trying to make a quick buck. I will be converting my entire 2021 NFL salary to #Bitcoin.

Culkin joined the Chiefs in February on a reserve/future contract. He has appeared in 19 career games for the Los Angeles Chargers and Baltimore Ravens, catching two passes for 36 yards.
The news of Culkin being paid in Bitcoin comes after former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Russell Okung was paid half of his $13 million salary in Bitcoin earlier this year.
