Travis Kelce’s season with the Kansas City Chiefs ended in Week 18 in a disappointing 14-12 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. The four-time first-team All-Pro tight end has since kept himself busy with extracurricular activities outside the NFL. This includes his podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce.
The Kelce brothers first established their podcast in September 2022. Over the past three-plus years, “New Heights” has emerged as one of the most popular sports podcasts out there. The show has won multiple awards and has grown a significant following among sports fans and otherwise.
On Tuesday, Travis and Jason Kelce shared some exciting news about their next episode.
“New Heights” has a reputation for bringing in big-name guests week in and week out, including the likes of LeBron James and Caitlin Clark. They nearly broke the internet when they had Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce's future wife, as their podcast guest.
The Kelce brothers also bring in Hollywood stars regularly. Earlier this month, Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon graced the “New Heights” stage.
Jason and Travis Kelce announced their next guest on Tuesday night. The brothers revealed via a social media post that NFL icon Greg Olsen will be the special guest for Wednesday’s episode of the podcast.
We’ve been dreaming about this intro for a long time too

Jason Kelce delivered another epic intro, including a veiled shot at his brother. He called Olsen “the best tight end on this podcast right now.” Travis Kelce, who played his usual role as his brother’s intro hype man, laughed off the jab.
Travis Kelce, in particular, is close friends with Olsen. They co-founded Tight End University in 2021 along with San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle. According to their website, TEU, an annual gathering of some of the best TEs in the NFL, “was created to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program.”
As Jason Kelce noted in his introduction, Olsen is a two-time Emmy Award-winning broadcaster. This is a testament to his successful transition from NFL star to renowned sportscaster.
Travis Kelce is currently pondering his future with the Chiefs after completing his 13th year in the NFL. The 11-time Pro Bowler has already been linked to a possible broadcasting job if he decides to retire during the offseason. Kelce himself previously declared his desire to enter the industry once he’s done with the Chiefs. “I want to broadcast when I'm done playing,” he said in 2024.
Olsen would be a great source for Kelce if the Chiefs star wants advice on making it big in broadcasting.
