Chiefs' Travis Kelce Gives Subtle Taylor Swift Shoutout After Playoff Win

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce might have just played a starring role in the 23-14 win over the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round, but his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, isn't too far from his mind.

With Kelce silencing the doubters as he rumbled to a 117-yard, one-touchdown afternoon as the Chiefs booked their spot in yet another AFC Championship game, Travis, it appears, is never too shy to reference Taylor's music.

The 35-year-old tight end was thought to be struggling to fight father time, but his performance against the Texans proved otherwise. Speaking post-game, when asked how he felt after such a dominating performance, Kelce responded with a subtle nod to one of Swift's songs.

"22 baby, 22," Kelce said which was in reference to Taylor's song called "22."

With Swift and Kelce being together for over a year, there have been reports and rumors that a potential engagement might be on the cards for the pair.

But as long as Travis' season continues, we imagine that we will have to wait for anything to happen in that space, with the offseason looming as a time when we might see Travis pop down on one knee.

Swift is reportedly excited to begin the next chapter of her life with Kelce, and one can only imagine what that might mean. If we are reading the tea leaves right, the thought of a wedding and possibly children down the line is a real possibility.

With Taylor in attendance, Travis wound back the clock and put on a show in front of her, and as one final nod, gave some flowers to Swift's famous song.
