The Kansas City Chiefs are once again into another Super Bowl, and for Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones, and others, who have been in multiple Super Bowl's, but for Xavier Worthy, it's his first.

With so many Chiefs players having ample experience at this time of year, Worthy will look to lean on those who have been here before so the moment doesn't get too big for the speed merchant.

The build-up to the game lasts two weeks, which is enough time for players to get in their heads about the matchup, but Xavier is taking it all in his stride.

"I mean, it's a surreal feeling," Worthy said. "A lot of guys don't have this feeling 12 years into their career, so I'm just going to take this and take it as a blessing.”

Having been a slow burn to start his season, Worthy has developed into quite the weapon for Mahomes. In Xavier's last six games, he's totaled at least 40 receiving yards and four receptions, with his best return for the season coming in the AFC championship game against the Buffalo Bills.

Now, he is on the doorstep of winning a Super Bowl in his first season, and as he alluded to, he is in a position that some players never get to.

As an example? One sits right near the rookie in the KC locker room. …

DeAndre Hopkins has been in the league for over a decade and has never been to this spot, and Worthy is therefore smart to be soaking it all in.

It's been a season of steady progression for the first-round pick from the University of Texas, and for Worthy, he obviously hopes it culiminates with a Super Bowl win and history being made. … all of which would add to his “surreal” feel.
