Chiefs WR Justyn Ross pleads not guilty after domestic battery arrest

Chiefs wide receiver Justyn Ross has entered a not guilty plea following his domestic battery arrest. TMZ Sports reported the news on Tuesday.

Per the report, Ross faces charges of domestic battery and criminal damage of greater than $1,000. He was released on $2,500 bond after appearing in court via Zoom on Tuesday.

The victim alleged that Ross “dragging her through the house and has torn up the house.” Ross is due back in court regarding the charges in December.

The Chiefs said they were aware of the situation but declined to comment at the matter at the time.

Ross, 23, is in his second season with the Chiefs after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson. He spent the entirety of the 2022 season on injured reserve before making the 53-man roster this season.

Ross has played all seven games this season for Kansas City, hauling in three receptions for 34 yards.
