Christian McCaffrey Welcomes New Family Member Amid NFL Offseason

Christian McCaffrey finished this past season with a 12-5 record for the San Francisco 49ers. He contributed 1,202 yards on 311 carries, averaging 3.9 yards per carry, and added 10 touchdowns. The 29-year-old running back ranked eighth in the league in rushing.

His performance led San Francisco to postseason contention, which ultimately ended with a 41-6 defeat at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round. With a successful season behind him, McCaffrey is now enjoying the time of his life this offseason.

He recently welcomed a new member to his family. Courtesy of his partnership with Cadillac, McCaffrey was delivered a new red beauty on Friday. He shared images of what appears to be the ultra-luxury, hand-built electric Cadillac Celestiq, a flagship model produced by the company.

“Thank you to my friends at @cadillac for the new ride. It’s incredible.” The 49ers star wrote.

Cadillac announced McCaffrey as a global brand ambassador in April 2025, saying the partnership was aimed at reaching California buyers using McCaffrey’s image.

“Christian McCaffrey is an ideal ambassador because he has built a reputation that embodies the essence of Cadillac and is beloved by the same people that we believe would be proud to own a Cadillac.” CMO Melissa Grady Dias told Marketing Daily.

McCaffrey is not starting from scratch. He owns at least five vehicles already: a BMW 7-Series, Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon, Aston Martin DB11, Ford F-150 Raptor and a Cadillac Escalade. That mix suggests a garage built around comfort, performance and utility rather than pure excess.

The Celestiq is expected to replace McCaffrey's reliable Escalade as the new "Dadmobile" as he enjoys this offseason, spending time with his wife Olivia and daughter Colette.
