Cincinnati Bengals' updated 2025 90-man offseason roster organized by player jersey numbers ahead of OTAs

The Cincinnati Bengals' offseason roster is set for the start of Organized Team Activities on May 27.

The are 91 players on the Bengals' roster, although that's not technically correct. 89 of the 91 players have signed contracts with the club, while two drafted rookies are unsigned at the moment.

91 players is a lot to remember, and over 25% were just added over the past few months. This makes now a great time to go over the roster in order by jersey numbers in use.

Cincinnati has only one retired number: No. 54. It was worn by center Bob Johnson, the team's first-ever draft pick back in 1968 who played for the team for 12 years. The No. 78 is not technically retired, but it was worn by Hall of Fame LT Anthony Munoz and is generally left unworn. 

Below are the other numbers that are currently unused by members of the Bengals:

These numbers will likely remain unused for the time being outside of emergency free agent signings. As for the numbers that are taken, certain positions still have fairly strict rules as to which numbers are permissible, but the NFL expanded the number range for other positions ahead of the 2023 NFL season.

• Running backs, fullbacks, and H-Backs: 0-49 and 80-99

• Linebackers: 0-59 and 90-99
