Bengals tight end Tanner Hudson suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice and won't play on Sunday against the Browns.

Could the veteran be out for the season?

"We'll see," head coach Zac Taylor said on Friday.

The team is still evaluating Hudson's injury. He has 18 receptions for 143 yards and one touchdown this season.

If Hudson is out for the year, rookie Tanner McLachlan could get his first chance to prove himself. He's been inactive for every game this season.

The Bengals drafted McLachlan in the sixth-round (194th overall) in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Look for Mike Gesicki and Cam Grandy to lead the way in the Bengals' tight end room on Sunday against the Browns.
