Cleveland Browns Announce new Alternate Helmet to be Worn

Last year, the Browns brought back white face masks for a game and it was a hit. The year prior, Cleveland had the 75th-anniversary uniforms as a combo. In 2023, the Browns are again expected to bring out the uniforms that are a throwback to the 1946 season in Cleveland. In 1946, the franchise had white helmets to match the uniform. Cleveland did not roll out the white helmets originally during the 2022 season but will now.

Cleveland will wear the helmets on three occasions during the 2023 season. In week 2 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers, and week 17 against the New York Jets. 

All in all, the white helmet is a smooth look. Many folks may not be too fond of it as it’s not the orange helmet that is universally associated with the Browns.

 None of that will matter in 2023 if the Browns are winning, fans aren’t going to care what they are wearing.
