CLEVELAND — The Browns made a surprising decision on Sunday when they made backup quarterback Jameis Winston inactive.

Winston is healthy and didn't have an injury designation this week. Meanwhile, Dorian Thompson-Robinson will serve as Deshaun Watson's backup against the Bengals.

It's a surprising move. Winston will serve as the emergency third quarterback.

Theoretically it takes some pressure off of Watson with plenty of fans and analysts calling for Winston to start.
