The Cleveland Browns appear to be interested in potentially bringing in a former Baltimore Ravens quarterback to their roster. The Browns don’t have great depth at the position behind starting quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Rookie fifth-round pick Dorian Trevor Thompson-Robinson is the Browns QB2. The Browns have P.J. Walker on the practice squad. Walker came into the preseason as the Chicago Bears QB2 but was cut after struggling in the preseason.
The Browns want to strengthen the position early on in the season. According to Aaron Wilson with KPRC, the Browns worked out Anthony Brown this week.

Brown was initially signed by the Baltimore Ravens as a UDFA following the 2022 NFL Draft. He spent most of the 2022 season on the practice squad. However, injuries to Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley gave Brown an opportunity to play for the Ravens in December.
Brown started in Week 18 last year for the Ravens. The Ravens released him on Sept. 4th.
Brown went 22/49 passing for 308 and two interceptions last season. The Browns have not signed Brown as of this publishing.
