The Cleveland Browns are gearing up for their 2024 season, and some major news dropped on Monday that goes along with who they will be opening up against for one Browns player; that will be the last opening game he will ever suit up for.
Fox reported Monday afternoon that the Cleveland Browns will host the Dallas Cowboys in Week One at 4:25 PM ET. This is the first meeting for the two teams since the Browns went on the road and won in 2020. Four years later, the Cowboys are looking to get their revenge.
Browns safety Rodney McLeod, who re-signed with the team this offseason, was on NFL Total Access over the weekend and stated that this would be his final lap and would be done playing football after the 2024 season.

The University of Virginia alum has had a great 12-year career in the NFL. McLeod spent four seasons with the St.Louis Rams and then six with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he was part of the Super Bowl-winning team in the 2017-2018 season. He also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts.
Hopefully, the Browns can go out on top this season, win a Super Bowl, and let McLeod ride off into the sunset with another ring.
