Cleveland Browns Unveil New Helmet For 2025 Season

The NFL ending its one shell rule has opened up the floodgates for throwback and alternate helmets to return across the league — and the Cleveland Browns are the latest to join in on the fun.

On Wednesday, the Browns unveiled matte brown helmets to go with the team's all-brown look that it adopted full-time after the NFL discontinued its Color Rush promotion in 2018.

The brown lids also feature brown facemasks and the franchise's classic helmet stripe (which is an inversion of the one used on its white alternates).

Fans reacted to the new helmets on X.

"Calling yourself the Browns, wearing brown uniforms, while sponsored by Dude Wipes is quite something," a user pointed out.

"i f—s with these heavy," another replied.

"what creative and branding people greenlit this disaster?" a fan asked.

"They made the all-brown uni's sponsored by WHOMST?"

"The s—t stain of the NFL. " another person laughed.

"The color rush uni’s deserve to be worn more. I'm a fan," another user commented.

"Elite. Debate a wall," Nick Karns posted.

"NO DUDEWIPES CLEANING UP THAT MUCH [EXPLETIVE] LMFAOOOOO," another fan cried.

"Maybe I wouldn't get dude wipes to sponsor by campaign promoting something tough and brown, but that's just me," Matt Brown said.

The Browns were far from the only team to reveal a new look this week. The Buffalo Bills also announced that they'll be bringing back their iconic red helmets in Week 18.
