Fox Sports radio host Colin Cowherd has seen enough from Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott this season to change his opinion of him.
Prescott has legitimately played at an MVP level this season, completing 71.4% of his pass attempts for 1,881 yards with 16 touchdowns and three interceptions. His efficiency is a big reason why the Cowboys are in just about every game.
Even though Prescott has been outstanding for the Cowboys, he's not in the top five for MVP betting odds. During a recent episode of "The Herd," Cowherd admit that he believes Prescott deserves more love from Vegas.
"He's ninth in MVP odds. That's insane," Cowherd said. "He's gotta be near the top. I always thought he was the classic high-floor, low-ceiling quarterback, like Kirk Cousins."
Cowherd then gave Prescott credit for getting the best out of George Pickens, who was traded from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past offseason.
"George Pickens was a talented highlight guy. Now, he’s a drama-free talented production guy. Do not understate how Dak Prescott has soothed and lowered the temperature on George Pickens."
As of now, Pickens is on track for his best season yet. The fourth-year wideout already has 36 receptions for 607 yards and six touchdowns.

The Cowboys have been so fun to watch this year that Cowherd isn't the only marquee broadcaster singing their praises. For as long as NFL fans can remember, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith has mocked Prescott and "America's Team."
Well, Smith changed his tune this week. He actually brought up the playoffs as a realistic possibility for the Cowboys this season.
"If he goes out and tweaks and this defense shows anything and the Dallas Cowboys make it to the playoffs with that offense and dare I say, they win a playoff game, we all got to stand down and be like this: Jerry Jones got us," Smith said, via Fox News Digital.
The Cowboys could earn a whole lot of love this weekend with a win over the Denver Broncos.
