Jared Goff still has plenty of doubters following his bounce-back 2022 season, but Colin Cowherd isn’t one of them.
On a recent episode of “The Herd,” Cowherd gave his NFC quarterback rankings in which he put Goff third, ahead of the likes of Kyler Murray, Dak Prescott and Kirk Cousins.
“Laugh all you want, Jared Goff’s been to a Super Bowl,” Cowherd said. “Oh by the way, first seven years in the NFL, Pro Bowler three times. Oh by the way, led the Lions to their first winning season since 2017. He’s pretty good. 90-plus passer rating in five of the last six years. He’s not mobile. He’s Matt Ryan with better arm talent. Matt Ryan won an MVP.”
Goff ranked fifth in touchdowns (29), sixth in passing yards (4,438) and seventh in passer rating (99.3). The 28-year-old compiled the second-most single-season touchdowns, third-most single-season passing yards and third-best single-season passer rating of his career in 2022.

Cowherd did not have a No. 9 or 10 selection, stating he could not justify putting Daniel Jones or Brock Purdy in those spots.
