Indianapolis confirmed on Thursday morning that it has activated defensive lineman Denico Autry off the reserve/COVID-19 list. The 30-year-old went on the list on Nov. 20 and missed his team's overtime win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 11 and the defeat to Tennessee.
Wednesday, the Colts activated leading rusher and starting ball-carrier Jonathan Taylor off the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Autry is in the middle of the best season of his career and leads the Colts with six sacks. He is second among Indianapolis players in tackles for loss (7) behind Tyquan Lewis (8).
According to Mike Wells of ESPN, fellow Indianapolis defensive lineman DeForest Buckner could be activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Saturday ahead of Sunday's showdown with the Houston Texans. Buckner is fourth on the Colts with six tackles for loss and has also contributed 2.5 sacks, 40 total tackles, a forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
The Texans are third in the division at 4-7 but have notched victories in three of their past four contests coming off their bye in Week 8.
