The Indianapolis Colts have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2025 NFL season. Sitting at 3-0, they're looking for their first playoff appearance since 2020.

A big reason for their success has been Jonathan Taylor, who on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans was dominant. He finished the game rushing the ball 17 times for 102 yards and three touchdowns. He added three receptions for 16 yards.

That performance earned him a special honor. On Wednesday, the NFL revealed Taylor had been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week. It's obviously very exciting for the sixth-year player out of Wisconsin.

What makes that even more impressive is that it's his second straight week winning the award. His 165 rushing yards, 50 receiving yards and one touchdown against the Denver Broncos earned him the honor for Week 2.

On Wednesday, Indianapolis added to the excitement, announcing via its website that he is the first Colts player to earn player-of-the-week honors in back-to-back weeks.

Through three games this season, Taylor has racked up 60 rushing attempts, 338 yards (leads the NFL) and three touchdowns. Adding in his eight receptions, 93 yards and one touchdown, he's putting together an impressive stat line.

If he keeps this up, Taylor may be adding some more awards to his resume. He already has two Pro Bowl appearances and one First-Team All-Pro selection.

ESPN BET gives Taylor the best odds (+500) to win Offensive Player of the Year. It's an award he's familiar with, finishing runner-up in 2021 behind Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp.

If Taylor could come out on top this year, he would be the first Colts player to receive the honor since quarterback Peyton Manning in 2004.
