The Indianapolis Colts have made a move at tight end a day before a crucial game against the AFC South rival Tennessee Titans, on Sunday in Indianapolis.
The Colts have activated tight end Will Mallory from injured reserve on Saturday. The move comes after fellow tight end Tyler Warren suffered a groin injury during the team’s Friday practice. Warren was listed as questionable for Sunday’s game in Indianapolis, according to James Boyd of The Athletic.
Warren had 30 receptions for 213 yards and two touchdowns through five games this season, starting in all five games for the Colts. The 2025 first-round pick out of Penn State made the Pro Bowl as a rookie, when he caught 76 passes for 817 yards and four touchdowns.

Mallory, a 6-foot-4, 239-pound tight end, went on injured reserve on August 30 with a thumb injury. He has appeared in 24 games with the Colts, including two starts, and has 23 receptions for 252 yards in just 268 offensive snaps.
Indianapolis selected Mallory in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft out of Miami. In 2025, he played in just two games and caught one pass for 16 yards. Mallory is in the final year of his rookie contract worth $4.1 million.
The Colts at 2-3 are coming off a 34-22 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week on Sunday, Oct. 11. They now welcome the 0-5 Titans to Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday for a big AFC South matchup.
