Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is good to go for training camp.

At least, according to Anthony Richardson.

"I'm all good," Richardson told Zach Goodall of 247 Sports. "Not really even a bump in the road. I feel like I tripped, I fell. Just got back up and hit the ground running again."

The quarterback's career has been marred by injury since he was drafted No. 4 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. His rookie season ended after just four games when he had surgery to repair the AC joint in his right shoulder. The shoulder soreness that kept him out of minicamp earlier this month was in the same shoulder.

Richardson's absence from the field allowed Daniel Jones to take the first-team reps in his place. That comes at a bad time for Richardson, as he is fighting to hold onto his QB1 job. Richardson was benched for veteran Joe Flacco after a Week 8 loss to the Houston Texans in 2024 after generating an NFL-worst 44.4% completion percentage in six games. Jones was signed to provide competition for the third-year pro.

The quarterback was advised to rest after traveling to Los Angeles to visit Dr. Neil ElAttrache. ElAttrache was the same surgeon who repaired his right shoulder two years ago.
