The Chicago Bears drafted Anthony Miller with the 51st pick in the 2nd round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Miller had a productive three-year stint with the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2020.
2018: 33 receptions, 423 yards, 7 touchdowns
2019: 52 receptions, 656 yards, 2 touchdowns
2020: 39 receptions, 485 yards, 2 touchdowns
Miller would end up being traded to the Houston Texans in July of 2021. He would only appear in two games with the Texans that season before being waived by the team, resulting in him appearing in a single game with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2021 season.
He would lose his 2022 season to injury after being placed on IR in August of 2022 and later be released by the Steelers this past summer. Miller's most recent NFL stint only lasted eight days as he signed with the San Franciso 49ers on August 21st of this year and would be released by August 29th.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Colts have released Juwann Winfree to make room for Miller. Winfree appeared in the team's first three games this season after being called up from their practice squad.
