Colts Star Sends Strong Message About Who He Wants at No. 14 in NFL Draft
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts and general manager Chris Ballard are heading into a pivotal 2025 NFL draft. After missing the playoffs once again last season with an 8-9 regular season record, the pressure is on the front office to build a roster that can compete during the 2025 season.

In order to do that, the Colts must bring in impactful talent during the draft.

Right now, Indianapolis is scheduled to be on the clock with the No. 14 overall pick. There are quite a few options the team could choose.

On Tuesday, just over 48 hours before the draft begins, star wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. spoke out about the pick. He dropped a name that he'd like to see the Colts bring onboard.

As shared by James Boyd of The Athletic, Pittman is a big fan of Penn State tight end Tyler Warren, who has been connected on multiple occasions to Indianapolis.

"That Penn State TE (Tyler Warren) is pretty good," he said.

Warren would be a dynamic addition to the Colts' offense. He would provide either Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones an elite security blanket and a down-the-field threat as well.

During the 2024 college football season with the Nittany Lions, Warren racked up 104 receptions for 1,233 yards and eight touchdowns.

Standing in at 6-foot-6 and 257 pounds, the Mechanicsville, Virginia native is a huge body with elite athleticism for his position. He would become the immediate starter at tight end in Indianapolis.

Ballard and the Colts should strongly consider taking him if he's available at No. 14. They also have Pittman suggesting that he'd be the right pick as well.
