The Kansas City Chiefs are set to face the Washington Commanders in Week 8 of the NFL season.

While the Chiefs have momentum, heading into the game having won two straight matchups against the Detroit Lions and the Las Vegas Raiders, they'll have a difficult task in primetime.

Washington is looking to break their two-game losing streak and they have a chance to do it on the biggest stage.

The Commanders will play the Chiefs on "Monday Night Football," looking to take down the defending AFC champions.

However, Dan Quinn will look to lead his team into the matchup against the Chiefs after suffering a loss to the roster.

Defensive end Dorance Armstrong has been played on the injured reserve list after suffering knee injury. According to Quinn, Armstrong will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

Dorance Armstrong has been playing at a phneomanl level for the Washington Commanders this season. It's a brutal blow for Dan Quinn and the Commanders as Armstrong has emerged as a defensive star for Washington.

Throughout the 2025 season, Armstrong has posted 5.5 sacks, tied for sixth-most in the NFL and 16 tackles.

The Washington Commanders will now look toward Jalyn Holmes to get back some of the spark that Armstrong helped bring to the defensive line.

Holmes has been with the Commanders since 2024 and has been in the NFL since 2018.

He'll now have a chance to make some plays for Dan Quinn and his defense against one of the hottest offenses in the NFL, led by Patrick Mahomes and Rashee Rice.
