Commanders Face Daunting Schedule End Against NFC East Rivals

Considering the reigning Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles were in the NFC East, many would have thought that they would have dominated the division.

But that was not the case.

The Washington Commanders finished just two games behind them with a 12-5 record in just Jayden Daniels' first season under center. They will be looking to compete with the Eagles once again in the division, but it will be tough.

Every NFL team's schedule has now been released, and the Commanders obviously have a tough go at it being in as touch of a division as the NFC East. With that being said, their rough stretch is at the end of the season

The team has a fairly late Week 12 BYE, and after that, they have a very tough slate of games. It starts out with the Denver Broncos at home, then a two-game road trip against the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants.

But that's when things get a bit tougher.

Daniels and company will then play the Eagles on Saturday, then they will play the recently-improved Dallas Cowboys on Christmas Day, then they finish out the 2025 season against the Eagles once again.

Playing the reigning Super Bowl Champions twice in the last three weeks of the season is going to be no small task. Daniels has said that he does not believe in sophomore slumps, but he is going to have to put on a clinic to avoid one.

The NFC East only got better this offseason, but Daniels and the rest of the Commanders will be looking to keep up and be true contenders this season.
