Commanders RB Brian Robinson expected to start vs. Bears

The next step in Washington Commanders running back Brian Robinson's stunning return to the gridiron will take place in Week 6.

The rookie is expected to get the start against the Chicago Bears on "Thursday Night Football."

Robinson was medically cleared at the start of last week, just five weeks after being shot twice during an attempted robbery. Two days later, the Alabama product was designated to return to practice and on Sunday, he made his professional debut against the Tennessee Titans.

As part of a three-man committee in the backfield alongside Antonio Gibson and J.D. McKissic, Robinson led the trio in rushing attempts (nine) and rushing yards (22).
